We invite you to explore the End of the World. The city tour allows us to experience a day filled with history and culture. We will be able to discover the most emblematic corners of this city, surrounded by mountains, sea, and the incredible contrasts that border it.
The excursion starts from the hotels. We begin by visiting the La Misión neighborhood, which was the first settlement of Anglican priests; today it is a military neighborhood. Then we continue the tour to the CADIC roundabout where the Austral Center for Scientific Research is located and we continue along the Naval Prefecture Avenue (coastal avenue), continuing along Perito Moreno Avenue, passing in front of the Paseo del Fuego Shopping Mall, an important commercial center of the city. Further on, we arrive at the industrial park, which began its activity in 1972 through Law 19640, representing one of the main sources of income for the province. From there, we will head to the so-called Rotonda del Indio, the entrance to the city of Ushuaia, and return along Héroes de Malvinas Street, making a stop at La Colina Viewpoint, one of the most impressive panoramic points of the city.
We continue the tour by going up Alem Avenue until we reach the viewpoint of the Las Hayas Hotel, another important panoramic point, which provides us with excellent landscapes. Subsequently, we head down 12 de Octubre Street until we return to Naval Prefecture Avenue, which leads us to the old Cemetery, where we will give a brief historical overview of the Ancient Settlers who rest in that place.
Next, we arrive at San Martín Street, the main avenue of the city, where you will find most of the restaurants and commercial establishments. Then, we head to Deloqui Street where we can appreciate the houses of the Ancient Settlers. We continue to the roundabout of the Maritime Museum and the Presidio and from there, to the End of the World Museum, on Maipú Street, where the tour ends.
